Well this is my 3rd ECU I have had in my possession. Basically an NA to TT was completed on my 1990 NA. We used a JDM 90-93 TT front clip using the NA wiring harness. Ash upgraded my ECU the first time around, but somehow when I sent it back to Z1 for inspection it was bad. So I bought another ECU from SooperZ95. It was a 95 TT Fed spec for an auto tranny ECU. He was not sure if it would work since it was a JDM motor, but I tried anyways. No luck! I just bought another ECU from member QWZIAH@aol.com or QWZIAH. He has a 1990 300zx TT Manual Transmission ECU. He is going to overnight the ECU to me so I will know tomorrow. We have went through the entire engine including compression test, injectors, and wiring harness. All of which came out fine, but we did replace alot of connects on the harness. So it was narrowed down to being the ASH spec ECU. That is when I tried the 95 spec Ecu. Here is what I have learned about ECU's: -Have to pair up tranny with tranny -Have to use 8 bit(90-93) ECU with a 93 or below car and 16 bit from 94 and up -Can use an NA ECU, but the maps are different so I didnt want to go that route If I am wrong in any way, please correct me.
